We gather for this workshop on the 25th anniversary of the IPP.
In this workshop, you will learn: (a) where Ignatian Pedagogy originated, and (b) how the five ingredients of IPP (Context, Experience, Reflection, Action, and Evaluation) can promote 21st-century learning and Ignatian formation in the classroom.
The following will be our main themes:
- The Origin of the IPP and Its Roots in Ignatian Spirituality
- Refractive Learning: An Approach to Ignatian Pedagogy as Learner-Centered, Reflection-Driven, and Action-Oriented
- Establishing Empathy through Context
- Building Empowerment through Experience
- Strengthening Engagement through Reflection
- Promoting Excellence through Action
- Expanding Expertise and Enthusiasm through Evaluation
