  • Although evaluating an art/musical work involves a subjective component, having background and contextual information about the work and knowledge of art elements and principles will inform one’s opinion about the work.

To create works of art that demonstrate various ways of using the elements of art and design principles to achieve particular effects and express their ideas and feelings.

  • With experimentation, practice, reflection, and constructive critique, I can develop my own unique artistic style.
  • As building blocks of visual language, wise use of the elements of art helps the artist organize visual communication and convey a specific message to the viewer.
